Carl Swanes has been involved in actionable conservation efforts since 2002 when he spent a summer working with the Center for Biological Diversity. He is a founding member of Tetiaroa Society and has been involved in conservation efforts for both businesses and non-governmental organizations. Mr. Swanes’ discretion, interpersonal skills, strong ability to communicate, and broad professional experience gives him a unique ability to achieve positive outcomes for his clients.
In his law practice Mr. Swanes has advised individuals, families, and businesses in planning and administering their complex trusts and estates for 15 years. Mr. Swanes specializes in discrete LLC management, sophisticated estate, gift, trusts, and income tax planning. He works with clients to transfer their businesses, real estate, life insurance, and other assets to family members, friends, and charity in accordance with their wishes.
In his personal life Mr. Swanes enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and daughters. He is licensed to practice law in Washington State and holds a JD from Vermont Law School and a bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Redlands.
