Interesting facts

This lizardfish lives between 6 and 330 feet deep. It lives in the archipelagos of the Marquises, the Society Islands, and the Gambiers. It has a distinct, elongated and cylindrical body with a forked tail. It’s caudal fin has large dark spots and it has pale blue to green reflective scales on its back. This fish eats small fish and shrimp that it ambushes. This is a voracious predator who attacks flashy and efficient.
