Interesting facts

This specie of moray is white with grey-violet speckles. Under its eye we can find a spot in the shape of a star. It eats fish, crustaceans, and benthic invertebrates. it is observable in the shallow lagoons, generally on sheltered reef areas and reef flats. When hunting prey on a beach at high tide, they can come out completely out of the water. Maximum length in adults is 47 inches.
