Interesting facts
This fish has a yellow-silver body with white bordered dorsal and caudal fins. The other fins are yellow. It sometimes travels in large schools. This fish likes the chaotic zones of the lagoon and the external slope. It’s a carnivorous fish and when it hunts it eats just about anything: fish, crustaceans, sea cucumbers, and cephalopods. It is more active at night, but will not hesitate to hunt during the day if prey wanders too close.
