Interesting facts
We find fire coral in shallow waters (between 3 and 100 feet deep) in the Indo-Pacific and the Red Sea. We know of 50 species of fire coral. They form colonies in the shape of domes fixed on the substrate and are green, cream, or yellow. It eats thanks to its symbiotic, photosynthetic, algae in their tissue.
