Particularités
The Horahora is a herb with white flowers that grows on rather sandy ground. The leaves, which are edible, were once eaten cooked. They have a distinct mustard taste from which its colloquial name “Polynesian Mustard” is derived. It has notable medicinal properties, oil can be made from its leaves and was once mixed with coconut milk to treat skin problems.
