Susan has more than 30 years of video production and marketing expertise, with a background in corporate, media, and public relations. As the founder of Big Bite Films, Susan has produced a variety of films, some of which include: 

  • Documentary about survivors of the Holocaust 
  • Series about sustainability 
  • National episodic show celebrating Jewish American heritage.
  • Documentary about the making of Novavax’s COVID-19 vaccine.

Susan’s career spans the media, corporate, and public relations arenas including: television journalist and producer, and bureau chief at major market stations, e.g., CBS in Orlando, Channel 11 in New York City; senior executive at Golin/Harris and Fleishman-Hillard, two global public relations firms. She also has extensive experience in the healthcare industry as international spokesperson, media/crisis manager, and video producer at the former Syntex, now Roche. She ran the West Coast division of NY-based Burns McClellan, a prominent biotech/pharma public relations firm with clients that included Gilead, Baxter and Searle.

Susan also was communications director for the CBS flagship TV station in Los Angeles serving as media spokesperson and head of public relations. 
Passionate about giving back, Susan leads as co-chair of the board of directors for Worldwide Orphans Foundation, working to improve the lives of vulnerable children globally. 
Susan earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Stanford University and graduated from Columbia Journalism School’s Sulzberger Executive Leadership Program.
