- Get in touch with the ecostation manager to seek guidance on the type of permit and authorization you need. The Tetiaroa Society streamlines the entire permitting process, ensuring that researchers have the necessary authorizations.
- All non-EU citizens conducting research in French Polynesia must fill out the summary sheet to get a 'convention d'accueil' as an immigration requirement. The application for obtaining the 'Convention d'accueil' must be submitted at least one month prior to your arrival.
- Any activity related to study, research and development, or collection conservation, whether for commercial purposes or not, carried out on genetic resources, ranging from DNA or RNA to metabolic products of animal, plant, or microbial origin needs to get a Commitment Act for a Prior Informed Consent Request from the Deparment of Environment. The application for obtaining the 'Commitment Act for a Prior Informed Consent Request' must be submitted at least one month prior to your arrival.
